Scion's FlowLab IOT wireless sensor network for the 2nd primary research site is now live! It is providing real time data for the Forest Flows Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment Endeavour programme.Once fully operational, the FlowLab wireless meshed network, developed by inFact Limited, will generate over 300,000 observations every 24 hours from 5 primary research sites Combined with data from NIWA sensors, we will be able to understand & quantify water use, water retention, and water release in planted forests through New Zealand.
